Today we had a wonderful line up of just under 2500 head of cattle at the September Store Sale. Grown Steers were very good quality but just a little bit cheaper, still selling to a top of 320c/kg. Our weighed weaner Steers were again very good quality, with a line of 100 off one vendor, and good lines of both Angus and British Bred cattle in. These got to a top of 315c/kg and sold consistently well.

The Grown Heifers got up to 305c/kg selling consistently well between 280-305c/kg, while the weighed Weaner Heifers reached a top of 270c/kg. The Open Auction heifers sold extremely well, and consistently well throughout the whole sale, with the top pen of Speckle Park Heifers reaching $750ph.

Cows & Calves sold up to $1940 for a pen of Angus Cows & Calves with March calves on them back in calf again. The grown X-bred Steers topped at 242c/kg down to about 190c/kg

Overall pricing was consistent with other markets and the quality of cattle was fantastic with vendors presenting their cattle very well today.
